Business grants are among the toughest to get of any of the government grant programs. The problem is there are very few grant programs available for would be start-ups or small businesses looking to expand their business unless the business model involves research and development, high technology, or is for non-profit. If you find a grant that interests you, make sure that you carefully read the information on Eligibility Requirements to find out if you would be qualified to apply for that particular grant. Remember, it’s about doing some reasearch and finding the grant that best suites your situation and your needs. Applying for a particular grant that you are not eligible for is a waste of both your time and our governments.
